stunning range of gallery pieces on display include the work of artisans in timber,
metal, glass, clay, gold, silver, pewter, leather, silk, linen and wool. The work
is of excellent quality, with craftsmanship, style and imagination. On most days
the craftsmen can be seen in the adjoining factory, working with timbers unique
to North Queensland; Red Cedar, Queensland Maple, Silky Oak, Sassafras and Eucalypt
burl. Exquisite leather boxes in various
colours, hand painted silk scarves, Aboriginal art, contemporary art, prints,
cards and books, make Tolga Woodworks the best gallery and studio workshop on
